Since 2022, text messages to most of my clients were blocked.
This includes follow up messages I sent to clients after their appointments, and replies when clients were trying to book appointments.
Koodo flagged my texts as spam due to the texts containing links. Usually this included shortened versions of links using tinyurl.cc but even messages containing regular links were flagged.
I was not informed of any such policies or actions by Koodo and they have assured me they have been blocking my messages and will try to fix that. I will be switching over to Telus.
I get the same spammy links from the same numbers near daily, so it is confusing why this would occur to me while those abusing text for spam purposes go unimpeded.
I hope no other businesses or people experience the such issues, I hope I can expect better from Telus.
